Parents

HOMEWORK-One very important goal for this year is to help students continue developing a strong sense of personal responsibility.  You can foster this by setting aside a time and place each evening to do homework.  It is a rare night when no homework at all is assigned.  All students in Room K-7 have an agenda book for copying assignments daily.  I will check the homework agenda book every day that our class meets.  You can easily communicate with me by writing a note in this agenda book.

BOOK REPORTS- Your child will be asked to complete a book report each marking period.  Three different genres will be explored- fiction, nonfiction, and biography.  You can help your child by making sure that he/she has a quiet place to read nightly.  Book report due dates can be seen in your child’s homework agenda book.

IEP meetings will be held throughout the year.  Invitations will be mailed to your home. Please call me at 215-945-4940 or email me at isabel@btsd.us if you have any questions regarding your child’s program.
