Clara Barton Elementary School

Barton’s sixth grade team has a goal of preparing our students for the challenging transition to middle school by implementing and teaching a vigorous academic, standards-based curriculum, while instilling pride and responsibility in each of our students.  In addition, our team focuses on proper social behavior that will provide students the foundation needed for their school career.

Each of the sixth grade teachers has several years experience in the middle school level and uses this gained knowledge to meet our goals.

While we embrace each student and their individualities and look forward to seeing personalities develop, we also understand sixth grade students still require guidance and support from both teachers and parents/guardians alike.  We believe together our students will achieve.
