Device Distribution Update


What does it take to get a Chromebook into a student’s hands?


Devices are extracted from their building, a diagnostic check is run to make sure it is working; it is then sanitized, barcoded and placed in a protective case.


So far our IT team of 5 has prepared and distributed over 1636 devices.


When will my child get a device?


Next week, we will begin distributing to K-2 elementary students. You will be directly contacted by your child’s teacher and/or principal. Right now, we are distributing one (1) device per elementary family.  


We are working with the state to try to obtain more devices. As you can imagine, device inventories are low and delivery times are out several weeks. 


What do I do if a device is not working?
